In the new KR version they should scrap the morphing Ford and get back to basics. I'd rather they used the 144A too - than the CGI transformer thing. To add on to what was missing with this remake, without sounding anti-Mustang, is making the new KITT a classic good looking car. I just saw a late model Camero/Firebird yesterday, and the damn thing looks even meaner than it did 20 years ago. It still looks like a bird of prey ready to take off. To choose a car like the Mustang which has had more poor looking incarnations than good ones, lets face it, todays models cant hold a candle to a 1967, was just a bad idea. Why not use the same make and model car from 1982, but a 2008 model year? While the idea of the orginal was great for the time, today's audience needs more than a Fro-Glow German dude knocking out bad guys with one punch. I agree with the above statements.
