Maryland Cops Give Speed Cameras The Finger

In England, the cops give the thumbs up to speeding cameras. In Maryland, the cops are not only refusing to pay for speeding tickets, as advised by their union, they’re also giving the cameras The Finger. In response to the "gesture of defiance," County Council Member, Phil Andrews, said, "there’s no excuse for that kind of behavior." No, but there is a cause.

That speeding ticket law does sound messed up. Maybe as my car is still on finance, I could just pass a Maryland speeding ticket onto my bank who own my car. :D

those cops sound like some bitches. why is it good to fine the citizens but not the cops as well. they need to pay taxes also for once instead of just reaping the benefits of tax dollars

I’ve been engaged in taxes for longer then I care to admit, both on the individual side (all my employed life!!) and from a legal point of view since satisfying the bar and following up on tax law. I’ve offered a lot of advice and rectified a lot of wrongs, and I must say that what you’ve posted makes complete sense. Please continue the good work - the more people know the better they’ll be outfitted to comprehend with the tax man, and that’s what it’s all about.
