Alex and Michael successfully made it to the Amsterdam checkpoint, taking several alternative routes and “long-cuts” through Belgium to avoid troubles with the local law enforcement. Their attempts fell short though after a motorcycle unit pulled the team over and slapped them with a 120 euro fine. The good news though was that the Team got some nice photos with the gracious officers! It was a lonely drive into Amsterdam for the Polizei M5, and it will be an even lonelier one leaving the city. Michael Ross reported that at their departure, there still were no other Gumballers who had arrived. Onward to Deutschland; the M5 can finally stretch her legs on her native Autobahn!

Was standing @ hazeldonk on the belgium / netherlands border with like loads n loads of other people. loads of cops came passing trough to to keep an eye on things.
was there @ 9 pm and the first cars came trough @ 10 but no M5 so i guess mr Roy and Ross took another way. around 11 some dude behind me got a call that an M5 was in amsterdam already.. couldn’t be anybody else then you guys =) GG in getting there first.
think you got a pretty lead. gonna follow you guys the next few days!

I notice how well you’re doing watching the co-polite live tracking (and it seems selective turning on and off the receiver!!)
I reckon you’re gonna beat all the gumballers to Frankfurst despite I notice a few taking a blatant shortcut and missing out the Amsterdam Checkpoint (Team Dodge, Team Flash Team Stanford etc.)
