…sometime very soon after its October 1st 2007 US release, at least according to my ever-patient editor Doug Grad at Harper Collins. It’s true. Several UK publishers have submitted offers for "The Driver", and we’ll be signing a contract within days.

I still can’t beleive I’m actually going to see it in print, hardbound, and sitting on a bookstore shelves, after spending the better part of a year working on it.  Advance copies will be sent to reviewers in the coming weeks, and I’ve already begun planning the book tour in both the United States and the UK. I’ve been going through my site traffic logs to determine the best places to hold preview readings, but if you live anywhere you think I can get a fair-sized group of rally fans or car folks together, please let me know so I can enter your location into Google Earth and set some tour dates.
