| US Cover | UK Cover |
Ebury Press, a division of Random House, has acquired the UK rights to The Driver, and, according to strong rumors, my book will be released there on or about the new year, which means my I - and the Polizei M5 - will begin touring Europe within the first week of January 2008. Starting in London, I intend to drive point-to-point, reading-to-reading, event-to-event, throughout the UK before heading down to the continent. The US tour will run from late October to December, then resume when I return from Europe.
The UK edition will sport a different cover from the American edition, yet although I’ve seen several awesome concepts, I’m not yet at liberty to post them. If Ebury agrees, I’ll throw up a few different versions on Monday. I’m curious to see what you think…

Great news Alex, looks like I will be seeing you in the New Year then.

Will either book contain parts the other does not have, or will they be identical, other than for publisher / cover?
Looking forward to it…
Can’t wait to hear of locations and dates to plan a trip around.
Whats the chance of a look at the car?

Should be a good trip Alex. It will be great to see the M5 around the UK.
Any word on pricing? Often the way these things are done is to simply replace the $ with a £ and hope to get away with it… with having to wait until the new year, if the price isn’t going to be much different (and with the current exchange rate), it might be worth actually ordering it from the US anyway!
I do hope you get to see your No1 fan ‘Justin Alexander’ in January before I go skiing! Look forward to having you back in the country!
Regards, Whitey
alex - any news on where in the uk you will be visiting?
Any chance to meet you in Germany?
