The S38 in that (and the E34) M5 is a fabulous motor and those cars are extremely under-appreciated compared to the E34 and E39 M5's. It's a much more raw M5 than the E39 and E60 M5, but in my opinion it's worth every penny that the seller is asking. Agreed with Cartorialist.

A previous boss had one, but alas I never got to drive it. It's a good thing my car budget is practically zero these days... I couldn't decide between a mint E28 or a good E39. Decisions... :) $450 a month for parking? Dang, I'm glad I'm out in the boonies.
