Ah, cars found in North America only. Shame. Guess you guys don't have SEAT's over there. I drive a 1.2L SEAT Ibiza (I've been telling myself that size doesn't matter), but at the moment, I'm topping up when it gets below a 1/2. Mainly because of the fuel prices. Everyone started panic buying about 2 weeks ago because of the strikes over here in the UK. Price goes up a penny every few days it seems.

Me again and guess what... the fuel did not last at least one day, because I had an unexpected drive to a clinic (nothing serious though) mainly on the Autobahn which makes 160km in total for today. Which means: The light lits again, I really need to refuel but the price even raised to 1.52 EUR per litre. I wait until tomorrow, let's see.
Seems i have not that much miles per gallon, at least on Autobahn (about 12 litres/100 km, oh my god).

Yesterday I just smiled about the site. Today I got a bit nervous about my own fuel gauge on my loyal Mazda 626 GV, which lights nearly for the whole week. Currently, in Germany the fuel prices are on the rise (1.49 EUR per litre!) and I try to play poker with my fav gas station. It seemed like the station won this round today. But I only bought gas for 20 EUR, which means I got ridiculous 13 litre. Enough for a week, maybe. So - it is time for the next round of poker :)

Some models of Mitsubishi are known to have inaccurate fuel gauges. I know with mine, when the gauge reads empty ( no light comes on :) )there's still 3 gallons in the tank, and I always fill it up again.

Interesting idea, but I wouldn't want to run empty after assuring the wife that we've got 37.14 miles' worth of driving left.
