Team Polizei Wallpaper of the Day #7 is a night-time interior shot - taken from the co-pilot’s position - of the Polizei M5’s navigation suite as used on the 2007 Gumball 3000. The interior is bathed in red light because all of the interior bulbs have been switched to red - just like a submarine bridge or aircraft cockpit - so as to protect their inherent night vision…even when all interior lights are swtiched on. Two of the M5’s four Garmin GPS units are visible on their swivel mounts - a 2730 and a 2650 - installed by AI Design. The BMW OEM display, permanently set to the trip computer, is visible in the background.
