Two years of planning. One day. Two nights. In motion.
They said it was impossible.
The major press since over the last seven days:
Wired’s Cover story.
Wired on our Google Earth Validation Project.
The New York Times story.
The Jalopnik Editors’ witness accounts. The dissenter.
The Fox News TV Interview with Shepard Smith. Fox & Friends Sunday.
The G4 TV Interview.
When. How. Why. Read "The Driver."

Dude, get some sleep!
My sentiments exactly!
Alex, when are you going to reveal the new Polizei car?
As a dutch person living 9 hours earlier I’m delighted to see Mr Roy has little night rest
Alex,
Even the Bionic man had to rest once in a while.
Except when he fought Andre the Giant dressed as bigfoot.
Does anyone remember that episode ?
God was that hillarious !!
He kinda looked like Joe Cocker on steroids.
Where was I ?………….oh yeah,
GET SOME REST !!!
Alex,
Hi Alex my name is Jason i am a relative of Davids. I just wanted to let you know that what you guys did is amazing. I have been racing all my life and its pretty cool how i know the guys who did this, well one of them anyway. You may not realise, but for someone like me who understands and enjoys racing and competing look up to you. I really didn’t understand the whole concept of this race or what you where racing for until David had explainded it to me and now i see how big of an accomplishment you guys made. I just wanted to tell you i think what you did is awesome and you do have people that look up to you guys for what you did.
Jason.
Most people think about the race from NY to Huntington Beach is drive fast, stop for gas, drive fast, stop for gas, and don’t get stopped for speeding. I mean, it’s only a day and a half. Then I read your book and other accounts of your fantastic adventure, and it turns into an epic journey. It certainly is not as simplistic as one would think. Great book and GREAT ride. Thank you. Thank you.
If you prefer, bring a friend or family member who can provide support. ,
But one thing is clear, the discussion of such a possibility happening is not the same as condoning or approving of such a thing. ,
