A little bird in London just informed Polizei HQ that "The Driver" has been selected as Top Gear Magazine’s May Book of the Month.
No higher honor have I ever been paid, but I won’t beleive it until I hold a copy, or at least a scan. If true, I’ve an old friend (and former Gumballer) to thank, but we’ll save his identity for the verification post.
I can’t find it anywhere in NYC. Anyone in the UK have the May issue and a scanner?

Yeah, but its kinda of a british approach to reviews. Top Gear Journalists are known to have an opinionated and quirky way of reviewing. Don’t worry the review will go down well in the UK, that’s why its book of the month.

Yeah I am british, the review made me smile. And you have a good point in that that is the reason it’s book of the month. Not being able to get TG in NY seems like a good enough reason not to want to move over there at any point in the future too!

you can get Top Gear at the large magazine store by Columbus circle. If you go down 8th from the circle, it will be on the right side. Green awnings and lots of magazines in the window.
It certainly deserves to be book of the month.
Top Gear Mag usually shows up about the 20th of the month on major news stands. If you look now they just got April’s edition.
Ha ha I still give a copy to every one I know who is either lost in life, unsure, or just needs an escape. And the lesson that you can talk about doing something and plan for it all you want but the only way to do it is to DO IT is something we all need a refresher in now and then
