I saw a discovery programme on it, the poor bastards frame snapped at a crucial moment while descending a volcano in Hawaii, he survived with a rather bad case of road rash. His helmet was a waste of f**ing time and he got the bad rock (apparently igneous rock is very bad for you when forced into you at 100mph) stuck in his eyes! Other than that the record attempt went well, I bet he wished he stuck to racing down the ice on speed sking runs!!
