Wonder where the law enforcement stands on this? With all of this evidence they have enough to put you away for reckless endangerment, careless driving, speeding, hardware violations, and in some states it is illegal to have scanners and laser/radar detectors, not to mention the laser jammers installed. Alex, what do you think?
you did look a bit tired, you should take some days off, i mean, writing a book, having to go on a book tour thats a LOT, not even taking in account personal stuff.
But dont worry, you seemed ironic and sarcastic enough, just what g4 is all about!
Skip Souther California Alex, the fires are consuming us!
no laughing matter.
Statute(s) of limitation apply to the petty (traffic) offenses, usually a 364 day period in most jurisdictions.
If a prosecutor in any county anywhere on the route were to actually file a complaint/information regarding these events, I would personally defend the accused with all the resources of my firm behind me. Don’t forget, the burden of proof is always on the State. For a felony, that burden rises to proof beyond a reasonable doubt. The State could not meet its burden in a case involving this run.
canaille : I believe the costs were a tad bit over 100k. I remember seeing a interview with Alex sating the M5 was 50k ish and the equipment inside was 10ish -12ish thousand. I can only assume the rest was in fuel (car and plane) and other expenses.
Personally I think the interview went well. I kinda thought you been interview by so many stuffy folks that you were caught off guard by the type of questions the AOTS host gave you. I say you done well!
I think I uploaded this, my youtube name is “maxgrabelski”
You sure did! Where did you find an uploadable version???
I have a Firefox extension that detects embedded video links from sites. It gets youtube video links as well.
Alex, how much do you recon you have spent on the M5, in totalt costs?
This video has been on YouTube since Wired wrote about the record, that’s all?
And that ain’t no tired look, everyone has it’s own eye of the tiger
I think he linked the wrong video, here is the right link:
