Amazing. I’ve…er…made it into Wikipedia. LOL. I recall someone creating a Wiki page for me a few years ago, but Wikipedia’s ever watchful volunteers deemed me - as per their necessary but occasionally arbitrary policy - "not sufficiently noteworthy" at the time.
They were probably right, at least according to my mom.
Now that Harper Collins has published "The Driver", and The New York Times, Wired, Jalopnik, Fox and many other news organizations have laboriously pored over virtually every scrap of evidentiary content I’ve amassed since 2003, some hardy soul has created an unpectedly accurate new page on my behalf, for which I’m duly grateful, but…but someone at Wikipedia still considers me not sufficiently noteworthy, and a debate has begun on the discussion page for my entry, which has now been locked until a decision is made. (I confess that I did - against the rules, I think - make a few small corrections solely for accuracy. My birth year, for example.)
I’m not sure I care, although I do find it amusing…but I’m too tired to think, or even write tonight…

Didn’t Kimble also have a wikipedia page at some point?
Heh. Good for you.
I survived one Speedy Deletion and the first AfD, but the second AfD was getting drawn out - so I asked for them to just delete it since they obviously didn’t want it.
I also forbid anyone from creating an entry on me again, as I did not create the first one.
Administration on Wikipedia is very POV, as far as I’m concerned.
Kimble still is on wikipedia, although his personal website has been taken down long ago…
Added my support to the discussion.
I am actually the creator of the article, I created it after reading the Wired article. So far, there’s a discussion going on regarding the page, the concensus so far is that you are indeed notable.
I find it amusing that given all the media attention (notoriety?) you have received an entry in Wikipedia makes you laugh. There is something to getting your own Wikipedia page…it’s like a star on the walk of fame…for geeks (I mean geek in the good way).
The consensus at Wikipedia seems to be keep. Congratulations!

I heard Toyota is considering recalling all vehicles as a result of braking troubles . My next door neighbor has one, can the Toyota be driven before it’s fixed?
