Yea I saw that a couple days ago. We definitely need a revamp of the process of getting a driver’s license.

I agree with Brandon, we need to completely redo the drivers licensing process. Just about anyone can get a license, kinda scary actually. The process in Deutschland is alot more complex, perhaps Herr Roy can back me up on this. Last I heard the entire process could top a couple thousand dollars. It also covered alot more information, such as changing a tire and CPR. I believe there is a law over there that says that the first civilian to come upon a traffic accident is required to stop and render aid, hence why most German cars, such as my Audi come with first aid kits. I think

Yeah it’s a lot harder to get a license here.
You have to get your eyes checked and if you need glasses it’s noted in your license.
You have to participate in a first aid course where you learn CPR, how to put on a bandage and stuff like this.
You have to visit 14 classes each 90 minutes where you are taught all theoretical stuff (at the end you write a test). Then 12 pratical classes each 45 minutes with a driving in structor (at the end you are checked).
I think usually people pay around $2200.
I think it’s the same way when you want to get your license when you are 17. But your are allowed only to drive with somebody who is at least 30, has a clean record and not any 30 year old is allowed.
Yes you have to stop at an accident otherwise you can be charged for hit and run. But I’m not sure about the actual law.
