Lead cars have been stopped and seized in Germany just 60 miles north of Hahn Airport. In better news: Team Polizei makes it first to the German Autobahn Police Checkpoint! Report is that the German Police are holding onto the cars until noon tomorrow, after the planes leave Hahn for Istanbul.

@ Ronnie.v.a:
On German radio this morning they said that the police stopped about 60 cars.
I´m from germany and they talked about 40 cars in the radio!
man that sucks…but the police can´t do nothing hrhr
According to the GPS arrived safely at Hahn: http://www.rallybird.eu/
heard it was about 20
Oh man, this is a setback. If I’m understandig correctly, your car has ben impounded untill this this afternoon? Hmm, well you were planning on driving to instanbyl anyway so missing the plane wouldn’t be that big of a problem no?
Hope you guys are back on the road aoon.
Q.A.Nguyen afaik they are all back on the road. they were released this morning in groups.
but already read somewere that they are taking the plane afterall. wouldn’t be that suprising really bet they counted on being in frankfurt last night and just driving trough the night to istanbul now they lost like 5/6 hours. so its kinda impossible to make it by car on time i guess.
Go faster boys come on lets get on with it….
Sam
still got faith you’ll set the land speed record polizei. this set back can only make you want to drive faster.
Hahaha…. endlich wurdet ihr gestoppt….
Nur weil ihr die dicke Kohle habt meint ihr, die Welt gehört euch alleine - traurig dass es solche Menschen gibt!
@Nofan.
Das hoert sich deutlich an wie neid.
It has nothing to do with $. They drove in Germany where there is no speeding restrictions so there is no harm caused. Sadly the German Polizei just wanted to fill their pockets a bit more and stop them. Although they did nothing wrong.
@TeamPolizei.
Sorry for how the germanPolizei welcomed team polizei. was nice meeting you guys at the roadblock.
@yves:
bullshit… of course there are speed limits on most german freeways. further, there is a difference between driving fast and racing…
